Typical American Regrets of the Day: A recent study conducted by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management professor of marketing Neal Roese and Mike Morrison of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign asked 370 adults to describe their most memorable regret in detail.

“Romance” reigned supreme as Americans’ chief regret, with 44% of women reporting a romance-oriented regret versus 19% of men responding similarly. Furthermore, individuals who were not involved were most likely to respond with a romantic regret.

“We found that one’s life circumstances, such as accomplishments or shortcomings, inject considerable fuel into the fires of regret,” Roese is quoted as saying. “Although regret is painful, it is an essential component of the human experience.”

I’ve had some awesome food adventures in the past few months. I’m not sure about everyone else, but there is nothing better than FOOD. I love having a homecooked meal, but I especially love dining out. I like trying new foods & going to new restuarants. I love the high dining experience but I also love hole-in-the-wall eateries.

Here are some of the food adventures I’ve been on.

White Dragon Roll & Firecracker Roll from Uncle Sushi in Cranston, RI. Uncle Sushi is a small, cramped sushi joint but their speciality rolls are out of this world! For specialty rolls, they are fairly priced at 9.95 too. Just looking at this picture is making me drool.

Tuna Toastados from Enn in Lincoln, RI. These things were delicious! The presentation was very professional & looked like little works of art… that I just wanted to gobble down!

Beef Patty, Brocolli & Chicken Parm Slice, Pepperoni Slice, Silician Slice, Cheese Slice from Sofia’s Pizza in Queens, NY. I’m not a huge pizza fan and the pizza was great. But I was super excited for the Beef Patty! Which was essentially like a Jamaican patty. I kept seeing them at every pizza joint in New York & finally got a delicious taste at Sophia’s.

Tea Sandwiches & Dougie Boy Crepe at The Duck & Bunny in Providence, RI. The Duck & Bunny truly is a unique dining experience. It has an Alice & Wonderland tea time feel. The prices are fair for the atmosphere and the food as well! The Dougie boy crepe was very impressive. The smoked salmon inside was soft & just melted in my mouth! Sexy!
